DMCA Policy

Classy Design respects the intellectual property rights of others. We comply with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA) and other applicable intellectual property laws. This policy outlines our procedures for addressing alleged copyright infringement and for processing counter-notifications.

We are dedicated to protecting the original content published on our platform, particularly articles related to interior design, home decor, and architectural insights. This commitment extends to ensuring our users and contributors also adhere to copyright laws.

Reporting Copyright Infringement

If you believe that content hosted on Classy Design infringes your copyright, please send a DMCA notice to our Designated Copyright Agent. Your notice must include all of the following information to be effective.

  • A physical or electronic signature of the copyright owner or a person authorized to act on their behalf.
  • Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to have been infringed, or if multiple copyrighted works are covered by a single notification, a representative list of such works. For our interior design articles, this could include specific text, images, or designs.
  • Identification of the material claimed to be infringing and its location on Classy Design. Provide specific URLs to help us locate the material promptly.
  • Your contact information: address, telephone number, and email address.
  • A statement that you have a good faith belief that use of the material in the manner complained of is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
  • A statement that the information in the notification is accurate, and under penalty of perjury, that you are authorized to act on behalf of the copyright owner.

Counter-Notification Procedure

If your content has been removed from Classy Design following a DMCA notice, and you believe it was removed in error or due to misidentification, you may submit a counter-notification. This allows you to dispute the claim of infringement.

  • Your physical or electronic signature.
  • Identification of the material that was removed and the location where the material appeared before its removal.
  • A statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good faith belief that the material was removed or disabled as a result of mistake or misidentification of the material.
  • Your name, address, and telephone number.
  • A statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the federal district court for the judicial district in which your address is located, or if your address is outside of the United States, for any judicial district in which Classy Design may be found. You must also state that you will accept service of process from the person who provided the original DMCA notification or an agent of such person.

Upon receipt of a valid counter-notification, we will forward a copy to the original complaining party. Unless the copyright owner files an action seeking a court order against you within 10 business days of receiving the counter-notice, the removed material may be restored.
